RETIRE IN COMFORT AWAY FROM THE COLD

Our decision to leave Canberra was mainly to do with the climate, and Tweed Heads is such a beautiful part of NSW. The location of all services within easy walking distance was the major attraction, we have hardly used our car at all since moving in. The downsizing has given us a lot more time to spend on our leisure activities and not having to mow a lawn is a big bonus. The rooftop garden and BBQ area are loved by all of our visitors and all of the facilities are kept immaculate, we really couldn’t ask for more. We haven’t had to give security a second thought since moving in and feel very comfortable in this environment. We have left all of our family in Canberra and we do miss them but we have made a bunch of new friends that seem like old friends already.

We made a joint decision many years ago that we would ‘down-size’ our house and sell the caravan when Col no longer wanted to ‘hitch up’. HOORAY, HOME AT LAST AT SERENE

I’ve lived in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, but I always knew I would end up living in the Tweed/Twin Towns area. When I decided to sell my property in Stanley Street last year, the first thing that came to my mind was Serene. Rebecca was my first contact. My decision was made that day. I loved the unit Rebecca showed me and I just knew it was for me. Everyone on the staff was fantastic and helpful, as moving in is not one of the easiest of tasks we face in life. I believe this is the best move I’ve ever made. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. My pictures are being hung in the next week or two. Duty Manager Dave, helped me last night with a ‘burnt toast’ problem and I even have a new hairdresser Sharyn in the Serene Salon. Life is great at Serene Living.
