Established in 2013, Serene is a family-owned and operated business founded by brothers Tony and John Feitelson.
With Tony’s background in architecture and design and John’s experience in property and lifelong passion for art, Serene was founded on a shared belief that where we live has an important influence on how we live.
That philosophy continues to shape our villages today. From carefully selected, walkable locations to thoughtfully designed homes and shared spaces, art woven throughout our communities, and places that encourage connection, every element is considered with everyday living in mind.
Our aim is simple — to create welcoming communities where people can continue to live independently, stay connected to the world around them and enjoy more freedom to spend their time doing the things they love.

With a background in architecture spanning residential and commercial design, Tony brings a strong appreciation for the way thoughtful design can enhance everyday living. His career has since expanded into property development and investment, but his architectural foundations continue to influence the Serene approach — creating homes and spaces that balance beauty, functionality and ease.
With decades of experience in property and a lifelong passion for the arts, John brings together two important elements of the Serene story. His career has spanned property, development and the creative industries, with a particular interest in giving places character and individuality. His longstanding support of the arts continues to influence Serene today, with art thoughtfully incorporated throughout our villages.
